We're glad you asked! At our yoga studio we are all about maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle. That to us means taking care of your mental and physical health. Excercise and exposure, green spaces, and being around supportive friends are known promote a better physical well being as well as reduce the effects of anxiety and depression as well.
My name is Ayisha Ochoa and I would like to personally welcome you to our site! Here at Reach for the Sky Yoga we embrace the power of healing through nature. While struggling through my own mental illnesses of depression and anxiety I found that excercising in the outdoors helped me rebuild myself anew. Now I am certified Yoga Instructor and lead classes to help other people do the same.
Day hikes are our most common and most visited classes. Each week we host short day hikes to a perfect yoga spot, these hikes and workouts vary in intensity and type. Each month a new schdule is released with days of classes, their location, and difficulty. To see the current months schedule, contact us or sign up for our newsletter.
Every month our studio hosts a class backbacking trip for a long weekend (Friday-Monday) as a real relaxation getaway. The month prior to a trip guests may sign up to be apart of the trip. We know that you are busy and may not always have the time for a day hike or a weekend trip! We offer studio classes held in the outdoor area of our studio on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
